Master supply agreement signing strengthens Aggreko partnership

Power generation equipment hire supplier Aggreko signed a new five-year master supply agreement with Cummins Generator Technologies in recognition of the A grade supplier status CGT has earned.

The agreement awards CGT preferred supplier status with Aggreko on both STAMFORD and AvK brands through 2022 following another positive meeting between the businesses.

During the Aggreko A level senior leadership review, Chris Weston, Aggreko Chief Executive Officer, Norbert Nusterer, Vice President and President of Cummins Power Systems and Sarah Nicholls, Territory Manager for CGT signed the agreement to further extend the companies' illustrious partnership.

CGT has supplied Aggreko with alternators for power generation for well over 30 years in order to help the company meet its customer's changing needs through small applications to multi-megawatt utility-grade power for regional power grids.

Nicholls, who is based at CGT's Fountain Court site in Peterborough, said: "We are very proud to be Aggreko's global partner and that our products are incorporated into the quality hire offering to their customers."

Trevor Latham, Aggreko Purchasing Director, also recognised the work CGT has done with his business in support of this agreement.

Alternators that CGT has supplied Aggreko with include the UC22, UC27, HC4, HC5, HC6, P7 and DIG130.
